Interval Workouts
Due to the current COVID situation in Michigan and the recent Emergency Order, we are cancelling the AATC Tuesday Interval workouts through December 31st. We will re-assess the situation and possibly resume outdoor workouts in January.
Due to the COVID pandemic, AATC’s interval workouts are being held exclusively outdoors. First we used local Ann Arbor Parks, then we used the new Concordia University 400m outdoor track on Earhart Rd just north of Geddes Rd (see the screenshot below), and at present we are not holding workouts.
When we resume interval workouts, we expect to hold them on Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm. They are short and intense with the total distance of hard intervals being about 3 miles. See below for weekly meeting locations and a brief description of the workout. We hope you'll join us!
We are taking the following precautions to minimize the chance of transmitting COVID. The outdoor workouts are limited to 25 people, we social distance during announcements, we do staggered starts (no mass start) and don’t run in each other’s slipstreams, and we are not providing refreshments. Please do not attend the workout if you have COVID symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, chills, headache, body aches, loss of taste or smell).
We also ask that all non AATC members please fill out this check-in form prior to any workouts you plan to attend (you do not need to complete the form if you are already a member. If you are not sure if you are a member and/or would like to check your membership status, visit our RunSignUp page).
