The Ann Arbor Track Club is proud to host the 26th annual  For Women Only (“FWO”) 5K - a 3.1 mile celebration of fitness that empowers, inspires and strengthens women of all ages and athletic abilities.  Our race headquarters will be the Ellen Thompson Women's Health Center on the campus of the St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor. Our flat & fast course  transverses the campus of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Please note that due to insurance regulations, no baby strollers or baby joggers are permitted on the course  Gault Race Management will  provide accurate timing  through use of the ChampionChip. We thank the Saint Joseph Mercy Women's Health Services for their continued support.

Honoree: Marty Betts
Marty had contributed her time and talent to the For Women Only race for the last 10 years by providing the distinctive graphic designs for the race. Her beautiful and powerful artwork expresses the significance of fitness in the lives of women.  She says she feels very fortunate to exercise BOTH of her loves...the creative arts AND the art of running. Running has been central focus for her, and it has helped her tremendously in all other facets of her life. She reports that the friendships and bonds created through running have been life-changing.

Beneficiaries:
A portion of your entry fee will be donated to one of these beneficiaries. When you register, you will be asked to select one.  To learn more, click on the links below.

It is an innovative health education and wellness program that uniquely combines training for a 3.1 mile run/walk event with life-changing, self-esteem enhancing lessons that encourage healthy habits and an active lifestyle in 8-12 year old girls.

Training Program:
We will not be doing the Women On the Move program this year but want to endorse a wonderful new program run by last year’s coach, Wanda Gunderson. Women In Motion can help you train for the ForWomen Only 5K and provide you with a chance to train with other women
